Minneapolis VA compensation clinic moves

October 20, 2015 at 1:45AM

The Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Compensation & Pension (C&P) Clinic has moved to the Whipple Federal Building, located at 1 Federal Drive, on the Fort Snelling Upper Post.

Its previous space at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center will be renovated for an expanded Chronic Pain Rehabilitation Program.

The new compensation and pension clinical and office space is located on the first floor of the Whipple Building. In addition, three audiology booths and an imaging suite are located in the basement.

The compensation and pension exam evaluates veterans for medical conditions related to military service and helps to determine disability benefits and pensions.

Veterans have been notified by letter of the new location. If veterans come to the Minneapolis VA Medical Center, a shuttle is available to take veterans to the Whipple Building. An open house in the new clinic is planned for Oct. 22 from 2-4 p.m.
