Minneapolis shooting victim was St. Cloud man

Ryan Kane Decker died early Thursday at HCMC after being shot in the head near the Stop N Shop at 1700 E. Lake Street, the Hennepin County medical examiner said.

The man fatally shot late Wednesday on E. Lake Street has been identified as a 46-year-old St. Cloud resident.

Ryan Kane Decker died early Thursday at HCMC after being shot in the head just before midnight Wednesday near the Stop N Shop at 1700 E. Lake St., the Hennepin County medical examiner said Saturday.

Decker apparently was fighting with one or more others when he was shot, police said. No arrests have been announced.

Decker's death marked Minneapolis' 16th homicide of 2021.
