Are you a Minneapolis resident interested in helping govern the state's third-largest school district, overseeing a $690 million budget and the education of more than 33,000 students?
If so, the eight-member Minneapolis Public Schools Board of Education is accepting applications. Resumes and a letter of interest are due by 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2.
The new member will replace board member Lydia Lee, who plans to resign effective Dec. 31.
