Minneapolis Public Schools will remain closed on Tuesday, school offiicals announced.
Last week, Gov. Mark Dayton canceled classes statewide and said that local superintendent should make the call on Monday.
It appears Minneapolis is the first school district to announce its plans.
Temperatures are expected to remain below zero on Tuesday.
