Minneapolis police seeking motorist who hit bicyclist

Police are asking for help in finding the driver who struck a bicyclist on Lyndale Avenue N. in Minneapolis on Wednesday night and then fled.

The victim of the hit and run near 14th and Lyndale Avenues N. is at Hennepin County Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, Police Sgt. Steve McCarty said Friday. Police had yet to release any identifying information about the vehicle or the driver. Police asked that anyone with information call them at 612-673-2981.
