October 9, 2013 at 2:15AM

Minneapolis police on Tuesday said a man's death in the 1200 block of 8th Street Street is being investigated as a possible homicide.

About 5 p.m., officers responded to a call of a person not breathing in an apartment. They found the man dead.

His death appears suspicious in nature, and homicide investigators were called in, a police spokeswoman said. The man's name and other details were not disclosed.
