A woman who reportedly was abducted by her former boyfriend Thursday afternoon has been found safe in south Minneapolis.
About 3:15, witnesses told police they saw Alexis Jade Nabors, 22, being forced by her ex-boyfriend into a blue 1997 Chevrolet Astro van in north Minneapolis. A Minneapolis patrol officer spotted the van about 7:15 p.m.
With the help of additional officers, police stopped the vehicle and found the woman unharmed inside the van.
The man was arrested to be questioned and is expected to be booked into the Hennepin County jail, according to police.
