A Minneapolis man was charged with manslaughter for his role in a parking lot brawl that left another man dead in Brooklyn Park last week, the Hennepin County attorney's office said Tuesday.

Roosevelt Garnell Johnson, 42, was charged with first-degree manslaughter in the beating death of Anthony Lloyd, 53, of Brooklyn Park.

Surveillance videos from the area showed Johnson and Lloyd walking into the parking lot with three other men. Johnson suddenly pushed Lloyd, punching him twice in the face, police said. Lloyd fell, his head hitting the concrete.

Police said Johnson and the other men fled. Johnson is being held at the Hennepin County jail on $150,000 bail.
