A Minneapolis firefighter suffered minor injuries Wednesday afternoon in a hit-and-run crash.
Minneapolis Assistant Fire Chief Chuck Brynteson said the firefighter was on East River Road at Marshall Street NE when his department vehicle was hit by a driver who left the scene of the accident. The impact pushed the firefighter's vehicle off the road and caused it to roll, leaving it upside down on the nearby grass. No other details about the crash were available.
The firefighter was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he was treated and released, Brynteson said.
