MILWAUKEE — A Milwaukee man is facing 10 felony charges after prosecutors say he raped his ex-girlfriend's 15-year-old sister before killing her new boyfriend.

Eighteen-year-old Markell Greer is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree sexual assault of a child, armed robbery, kidnapping and substantial battery. Court records allege he repeatedly raped the 15-year-old girl, fatally shot a 30-year-old man, and then beat and confined three females.

A criminal complaint says Greer raped and confined the girl on the evening of Jan. 3 until her 18-year-old sister arrived home with her friend and boyfriend the following morning.

The complaint says Greer shot Nevelo Smith as he fled the home, and then threatened and confined the two sisters and the older sister's friend. The complaint says he also pistol whipped the older sister.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1IDXJhq ) reports the victims were eventually able to escape and call police.

Court records don't indicate an attorney for Greer. He's being held on $750,000 bail.
