The NBA's trade deadline is tomorrow, and per a tweet from HOOPSWORLD'S Alex Kennedy, the Wolves and Magic are reportedly talking about a Michael Beasley -for- Jason Richardson swap.

Rumors are flying fast and furious this time of year, so who knows exactly what to make of that. Our question: If true, does it do anything for you?

On the plus side to us, Richardson is a true shooting guard, while trading Beasley would unclog some of the glut at the forward spot. He is also a very good three-point shooter. He sprained his ankle recently, but it is not believed to be serious.

However, Richardson is 31 years old and has 2 more years (plus a player option) left on his contract, set to pay him roughly $6 million per.

How much of an upgrade woudl he be? Is he the kind of player you want on the roster for up to three more seasons at that price? Is that worth giving up the flexibility the Wolves presume to get when Beasley becomes a free agent after this season?

Your thoughts in the comments.
