So what happens to our wild winter weather down the road? There is little question that it is going to stay cold from the Great Plains to the East, and there may be another storm in the wind.

That next storm will come out of central Canada Saturday, causing snow from the Dakotas to Missouri. Sunday, that disturbance will have some impact on the weather in the Ohio Valley.

How big a deal this storm will be when it reaches the East Coast later Monday and Tuesday is not known at this time. It could bring snow to the area that doesn't need any more, yet it lacks all the credentials to become another extreme event.
