Rangers defenseman Marc Staal continues to be out with a concussion suffered last season when his Carolina Hurricanes brother, Eric Staal, creamed him with a mammoth hit.

Eric Staal has struggled since. He's tied for a league-worst minus-9.

"It's still hard to swallow," Eric Staal said of his guilt. "If you could take the hit back, you kind of would because it's my brother and someone I've very close to. But it happened."
