Ducks willing to clean house Anaheim GM Bob Murray has had it with his disappointing team. He told the Los Angeles Times that veterans Teemu Selanne and Saku Koivu are the only untouchables (unless they are willing to waive their no-trade clauses).

But what that means is Murray is willing to trade one of the Ducks' core star forwards -- Bobby Ryan, Ryan Getzlaf or last year's Hart Trophy winner, Corey Perry.

But this isn't a rebuild. Murray says he wouldn't trade one of his stars for prospects and picks. He wants players who can play now.

Iginla, Nash available? Not likely With Calgary sliding into oblivion, many believe Flames captain Jarome Iginla will be asked to waive his no-trade clause. But that seems unlikely. And speaking of shaking up the core, Blue Jackets captain Rick Nash told the Columbus Dispatch that hypothetically speaking, if the team asked him to waive his no-trade and it was for the betterment of the franchise, he wouldn't stand in their way. GM Scott Howson has said that won't happen.

Loudly saying he's silent Struggling Philadelphia goalie Ilya Bryzgalov joked with reporters last week that he didn't have to speak with them. "It's a free country, right?" he said. "I have freedom to speak and freedom to be quiet. You don't want to break my constitutional rights, huh guys? You don't like it, go to the Supreme Court, guys."
