Brandon Zylstra and Concordia (Moorhead) have a good thing going.
The senior wide receiver scored three touchdowns, including the go-ahead score late in the third quarter, as the No. 17 Cobbers won their fifth consecutive game, beating host Hamline 30-20 on Saturday. It was Concordia's 24th consecutive victory over Hamline.
Zylstra caught 25- and 18-yard scoring strikes from Michael Herzog, the second of which gave the Cobbers a 27-20 lead. Zylstra had four catches for 136 yards.
Zylstra opened the scoring with a 44-yard run 12 seconds into the game.
St. John's 56, Carleton 0: Josh Bungum didn't waste time providing big plays for the No. 13 Johnnies in their rout over the Knights. He returned the opening kickoff 96 yards for a score and followed it with 80- and 49-yard TD receptions in the first quarter. St. John's has won all 33 meetings between the two schools.
Augsburg 57, St. Olaf 35: Quarterback Ayrton Scott completed 26 of 32 passes for 313 yards and four TDs and rushed for 203 yards on 22 carries and another score as the Auggies defeated the Oles. Teammates Tyrell Martin and Joey Sonnenfeld each had three TDs, Martin's coming on the ground and Sonnenfeld's through the air.
