Third Thursday: Art & Lit with Paper Darts

The well-versed denizens of literary magazine Paper Darts take over the Minneapolis Institute of Arts for a Third Thursday that will be heavy on interactivity and childhood games. Paper Darts scribes Ed Bok Lee, John Jodzio, Maggie Ryan Sandford and Katie Heaney will read their original choose-your-own-adventure stories, while painter Jennifer Davis will give the classic "exquisite corpse" game an artful twist. It's all rounded out by hip-hop duo Kill the Vultures, improv troupe the Theater of Public Policy, art from Allen Brewer and a cash bar. (6-9 p.m. Jan. 17. Free. Minneapolis Institute of Arts, 2400 3rd Av. S., Mpls. 888-642-2787 or www.artsmia.org.) J.P.
