The new park and ride ramp at Metro Transit's Anoka Northstar rail stop is open for business.

The three-level ramp, located on the south side of the tracks, includes 344 free parking spaces and serves as a multi-modal transit hub with bus, bicycle and pedestrian amenities. It opened Thursday.

The facility also has a pedestrian overpass to allow easy access to the north side of the station.
