Shakopee rallied in the third period to upset visiting Eastview 4-3. Paige McNeill broke a 3-3 tie with 3:18 left in the game. The Lightning were ranked No. 11 in Class 2A by Let's Play Hockey.
Tristen Truax started the comeback with an even strength goal at the buzzer ending the second period. She tied the game at the 7:38 mark of the third period with a power-play goal.
Camryn Noess stopped 32 shots, including 17 in the third period, to earn the win for the Sabers.
Mary Keating scored two goals and Natalie Snodgrass had one to help the Lightning take a 3-1 lead near the middle of the second period.
Delano/Rockford 4, South St. Paul 3 (OT): Haley Kuechle scored just over six minutes into overtime to upset the host Packers, No. 15 in Class 1A. The No. 20 Tigers scored three straight goals to take a 3-2 lead early in the third period, but Brooke Derring scored on the power play with 15 seconds left to send the game to overtime. Sonja Pearson scored two goals in the first period for the Packers.
Maple Grove 2, Elk River/Zimmerman 0: Taylor Wente and Tina Kampa scored in the second period to lift the visiting Crimson, No. 3 in Class 2A, past the No. 8 Elks. Breanna Blesi stopped 28 shots for the shutout.
Centennial 7, Spring Lake Park/Coon Rapids 0: Gabbie Hughes had three goals and three assists to lead the Cougars, No. 9 in Class 2A, past visiting Spring Lake Park/Coon Rapids. Anneke Linser had a goal and three assists and Hannah Backman had three assists for Centennial. Mackenzie Torma stopped 30 shots for the shutout.
Breck 6, Chaska/Chanhassen 0: Katherine Solohub had a goal and two assists to lead the visiting Mustangs, No. 2 in Class 1A, past the StormHawks, No. 12 in Class 2A. Luci MacGlynn, Olivia Mobley and Abigail Riskevich had a goal and an assist each.
