Dispute. Officers responded to a report of a dispute between neighbors on Bell Street. One of them was upset about the other's vehicle parked on the street in front of their lot. Officers explained that the car was legally parked.

Grant

Oct. 13

Suspicious activity. Authorities received two early morning reports of suspicious vehicles in the area of Ideal Avenue and Dellwood Road. A caller said he followed one vehicle until it stopped and found the driver was delivering newspapers. The delivery driver also had called authorities on the other vehicle. No citations were issued.

Drugs. Officers responded to a report of a man and woman in the bathroom for an extended period at SuperAmerica, 1442 Constance Blvd. NE. They arrested a 26-year-old woman on a warrant and possession of a controlled substance and cited a 23-year-old man for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lakeville

Week of Oct. 21-27

Drugs. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at 170th Street W. and Jonquil Avenue. They arrested a 26-year-old man for possession of methamphetamine and a hypodermic needle and for obstructing the legal process.

Burglary. A ring valued at $1,000 and $3,000 in cash were stolen from vehicles parked in a garage in the 16000 block of Galleon Circle.

Lauderdale

Oct. 18

Traffic. A 46-year-old man driving in the area of Hwy. 280 and Broadway Street was arrested and cited for intentionally obstructing an emergency vehicle and broken taillights.

Lexington

Oct. 28

Found. A resident reported finding a knife in his mailbox in the 3800 block of Flowerfield Road.

Maple Grove

Oct. 15

Theft. A 2016 Lincoln MKX was stolen from a driveway in the 8300 block of Hemlock Lane. The vehicle was unlocked and the keys had been left inside it.

Oct. 20

Missing child. Officers responded to a report of a missing child in the 6200 block of Orleans Lane. The 7-year-old boy was located at a neighbor's house and returned home safely.

May Township

Oct. 13

Suspicious activity. Residents in the 14000 block of May Avenue reported a suspicious vehicle driving up their driveway and around to the back of their house. They thought it might be a worker who had been fired by a roofing company working on their house and who had threatened to steal equipment. It turned out that GPS had led the driver, who was headed to a nearby gathering, to the wrong house.

Check welfare. An officer responded to a report of someone lying just inside the glass front door of a home in the 100 block of Hillview Lane. They found that a resident was lying in the sun clipping her cat's nails.

Oct. 22

Driving violation. A 26-year-old Mound woman was cited for driving without a license after she was stopped for driving in the dark without headlights on County Road 110 W.

New Brighton

Oct. 17

Theft. An electric bicycle valued at $1,000 was stolen from a garage in the 2100 block of Violet Lane.

Newport

Oct. 15

Suspicious activity. Authorities responded to a report of two men, possibly impaired, parked in an SUV for 15 minutes at a gas pump at SuperAmerica, 1624 Hastings Av. The men were awake and alert and explained they were there to meet someone. They were advised to park in a nearby lot instead of at the pump.

Prior Lake

Oct. 31

Drugs. A 39-year-old Brooklyn Park woman was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and warrants from four counties at Mystic Lake Casino, 2400 Mystic Lake Blvd.

Shakopee

Oct. 31

Drugs. A 35-year-old Golden Valley man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Canterbury Road S. and County Road 42.
