Back from a long summer tour -- and not planning to hit the road again anytime soon -- Jeremy Messersmith clearly still wants to take his music to the people. He will perform a lunchtime viral concert today at 1:30 p.m., which will stream live on his website. The impromptu, um, gig follows another clever bit of buzz-building for the Minneapolis indie-folk hero, who recently released a "Star Wars"-themed song called "Tatooine." The song and its lovingly crafted paper-art YouTube video (made by Eric Powers) have earned attention from Yahoo!, USA Today and Wired. Messersmith also earned a big profile bump when his song "A Girl, a Boy and a Graveyard" was used on the NBC show "Chuck." As always, you can download that song, "Tatooine" and all of Jeremy's other great tunes on a pay-what-you-will basis off his website. Looking forward to the concert.
