Cardinals crush Orange in Big East • NO. 9 LOUISVILLE 67, NO. 8 SYRACUSE 57: Earl Clark scored five of his 16 points in the final two minutes, and the visiting Cardinals (15-3, 6-0 Big East) won their seventh in a row Sunday. The Orange (17-4, 5-3), averaging 80.4 points a game, had only two field goals in the last seven minutes and finished with a season low in points.

• NO. 4 PITTSBURGH 79, WEST VIRGINIA 67: Sam Young scored 16 of his 22 points in the second half, and DeJuan Blair had his 13th double- double of the season with 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Panthers (18-1, 6-1 Big East) against the host Mountaineers (14-5, 3-3).

• SETON HALL 65, NO. 12 GEORGETOWN 60: Jeremy Hazell scored 23 points, including the clinching free throws with 8.1 seconds left, and the Pirates (10-9, 1-6) beat the Hoyas (12-6, 3-4) in Newark, N.J., for their first Big East victory of the season. The Pirates went without making a three-pointer for the first time in more than 17 years, but held the Hoyas to a season-low 32 percent shooting, including 3-for-22 from three-point range. Freshman Greg Monroe's 17 points led Georgetown, which lost its third in a row.

Toliver, Terrapins trip Tar Heels • NO. 12 MARYLAND 77, NO. 2 NORTH CAROLINA 71: Kristi Toliver scored 18 of her 23 points in the second half, and the host Terrapins (16-3, 4-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) handed the Tar Heels their third consecutive loss. Toliver contributed 11 points to a 13-0 run that put the Terrapins up by 12 with 14:24 left. Marissa Coleman had 22 points and 10 rebounds, helping the Terrapins extend their home winning streak to 29. Jessica Breland had 18 points and 12 rebounds for North Carolina (17-3, 3-2).

• NO. 6 AUBURN 82, NO. 10 TENNESSEE 68: DeWanna Bonner scored a career-high 35 points in leading the Tigers to victory in front of a record home crowd of 12,067, which broke the 20-year-old Auburn mark by nearly 5,000. Auburn (20-0, 5-0 Southeastern Conference) hadn't beaten Tennessee (15-4, 4-2) in 12 years or at home since 1991.

• NO. 3 OKLAHOMA 89, NO. 14 TEXAS 69: Courtney Paris had 23 points and a season-best 21 rebounds for the host Sooners (16-2, 5-0), who remained unbeaten in the Big 12 and set up a showdown Wednesday with No. 5 Baylor. It was Paris' 10th career game with at least 20 points and 20 rebounds. Ashley Lindsey scored 15 points to lead Texas (14-4, 2-2), which surrendered a season-high point total and got outrebounded 43-24.

• NO. 4 DUKE 60, GEORGIA TECH 34: Abby Waner scored 14 points for the host Blue Devils (17-1, 5-0 ACC), who held the Yellow Jackets (14-5, 2-3) to their second-lowest point total ever. Duke also claimed a share of first place in the league with Florida State.

• NO. 15 FLORIDA 75, MISSISSIPPI 54: The host Gators (18-2, 4-1 SEC) improved to 11-0 at home with a victory over the Rebels (13-6, 2-3).

• NO. 19 OHIO STATE 71, PURDUE 60: Jantel Lavender scored 21 points for the visiting Buckeyes (16-3, 7-1) who took over sole possession of first place in the Big Ten. Lindsay Wisdom-Hylton scored all 16 of her points in the second half, and Danielle Campbell scored 14 for Purdue (13-7, 6-3).
