This is always a good sign Hollywood Reporter says::

Yes, if there's one subject that lends itself well to quickly written scripts, it's time travel. There's also a problem between the director, Barry Sonnefeld, and the producer, Walter Parkes.

Will great hair triumph again over the forces of goodness? Tune in next holiday season when this thing lands in the theater. By the way, you know how much money Steven Spielberg made off the first one? He didn't direct. He didn't write. He was the producer. He made $100 million. Probably made the same on the sequel. Roll those numbers around in your head.
