LAKEWOOD CEMETERY: Hennepin Av. And 36th St., Minneapolis. 10:30 a.m. near the Soldiers Memorial monument. This year's ceremony will honor the 100th anniversary of World War I. It will include a Gospel quartet led by Robert Robinson, keynote address by Douglas P. Bekke, curator of the Minnesota Military Museum and World War I historian and the Minneapolis Police Band.
HONORING ALL VETERANS MEMORIAL: 6429 Portland Av. S., Minneapolis, 2 p.m. The featured speaker will be Walter Holm, WWII merchant marine veteran, who served in both the Pacific and Atlantic theaters. The 34th Infantry Division "Red Bull" Band also will perform. Fifty-six new veterans' names added to the monument will be unveiled, making a total of 799 veteran engravings.
