MADISON, Wis. — The Dane County medical examiner's office has released the name of a Madison woman who was shot to death in her home.

She is identified as 25-year-old Julia Majette. The medical examiner says she died of gunshot wounds.

Majette's husband was wounded in the Wednesday night attack.

Madison police spokesman Joel DeSpain tells the Wisconsin State Journal (http://bit.ly/13Mn9Wx) police have not identified any suspects.

Police had said the victim's husband initially was not cooperating with investigators, but DeSpain says he has started speaking with detectives.

Police say two men — at least one of them armed with a handgun — entered the duplex shortly before 8 p.m.

At least two of the couple's three children witnessed some of the shootings.
