Six Minnesota dance artists will receive $25,000 each as winners of a 2011 McKnight Artist Fellowship.

The winners, announced Wednesday, are dancers Amy Behm-Thomson, Amanda Dlouhy and Nic Lincoln and choreographers Uri Sands, April Sellers and Chris Yon.

Behm-Thomson dances primarily with Arena and Zenon. Dlouhy dances with Ragamala, and Lincoln's primary affiliation is with James Sewell Ballet.

Uri Sands founded TU Dance with Toni Pierce-Sands. Sellers is artistic director of April Sellers Dance Collective. Yon will have work in the Momentum series in July in Minneapolis.
