Kevin McHale is back.

The former Timerwovles GM/coach isn't back on an NBA sideline and hasn't been since Houston fired him just days into the 2015-16 season.

No, he's back on the TNT/NBA TV roster.

Taking all the verbal skills he largely refused to use during his recent coaching/NBA gigs, he's back in a high-profile media job that leaves him very visible for the next good NBA job that comes along.

He'll do commentary on select TNT games and join Ernie Johnson, Chris Webber and Greg Anthony on NBA TV's Tuesday Fan Night.

McHale previously worked for Turner Sports from 2009 to 2011. That stint came in between his time with the Timberwolves and his time as the head coach of the Rockets.
