The Golden Arches are reaching all the way to your door with whatever you want off the McDonald's menu with Monday's Twin Cities debut of delivery from 19 locations.
Deliveries in the metro area can now be requested through the UberEATS mobile app or on UberEATS.com using the same account for getting a ride. Anxious diners can track their order through the account.
As incentive there is a $5 discount on the first order using promo code MCDSMILE through the end of the year.
McDonald's outlets participating are in Bloomington (1), Edina (1), Minneapolis (9), St. Louis Park (2) and St. Paul (6).
Delivery service has been rolled out by McDonald's in other metro areas earlier this year. The company said it has found that most customers using delivery are younger, and the most popular time for requesting delivery is in the evening.
Industry watchers say the delivery fee has been averaging about $5.
