The candidates for mayor of North St. Paul:

Albert Bishop Jr., 49, a precision machinery erector and a vocational technical school teacher.

Juliane Danner, 39, a former respiratory therapist who is a stay-at-home mother of two children.

Kris Kivel, 33, owner of Home Distinction, a construction and commercial cleaning business based in North St. Paul.

Mike Kuehn, 57, City Council member, current acting mayor of North St. Paul and government relations coordinator for the Metropolitan Council.

Evangelyn Meyer, 59, a teacher at an alternative school in Minneapolis.

Jesse LaBuda, 49. *

Timothy Niven, 51. *

Candy Petersen, 54, member of the North St. Paul Parks and Recreation Commission and a special education teacher.

Darrel Peabody, 44,* who has run for the City Council in past elections.

Jan Walczak, 56, City Council member.
