The premise of "Mayor Lear" is funny — marry Shakespeare's "King Lear" with the cartoon series "The Powerpuff Girls." When the mayor of Townsville is forced to take a month-long vacation, he divides the realm based on flattery from Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup. They, in turn, show their true colors. Unfortunately, Daniel Mauleon's all-female mashup is mostly flat despite some comic moments from a good cast that includes Emily Rose Duea as Buttercup. (10 p.m. Sun., 5:30 p.m. Thu., 2:30 p.m. Sat.
