Joel Maturi statement on Trevor Mbakwe's status:
"Trevor Mbakwe has not yet been cleared to play for the University of Minnesota basketball team. However, he is enrolled and will be able to practice with the team and also attend all team functions. A final decision on his competition status will be made at a later date."
