Mass. Sen. Warren to campaign in Minnesota with Sen. Franken

Democratic Sen. Al Franken had campaigned for Sen. Elizabeth Warren when she was running two years ago and Warren stumped for Franken earlier this year

Democratic U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, of Massachusetts, is headed back to Minnesota this weekend to stump for Democratic U.S. Sen. Al Franken.

According to the Franken campaign, Warren and Franken will speak at Northfield's Carleton College Saturday and then the two will visit a St. Paul DFL field office.

Warren and Franken have long campaigned for one another.

The two also fund raised together in Washington, DC at the start of 2013.

Warren has been a popular campaigner for Democratic candidates and causes this cycle. She will also visit Iowa on Monday to campaign for Bruce Braley, the U.S. Senate candidate in that state.
