Masked gunman robs St. Paul bank

A TCF Bank in St. Paul was robbed on Monday evening. The robber walked into the lobby of the bank at 1988 Suburban Av. about 7 p.m. and displayed a handgun, according to the FBI, ordering everyone to the floor and pointing the gun down.

He demanded money and threatened to come back and shoot people if he heard sirens or alarms. He then fled on foot. No one was hurt.

DESCRIPTION: The suspect is described as an Asian male, about 5 foot 7 with a slight build. He was wearing black pants, a black hooded jacket and a black mask. He wore white gloves and shoes.

The FBI suspects him of robbing the TCF Bank in West St. Paul on Jan. 3.
