An explosion at a grain elevator in south-central Minnesota on Thursday damaged the structure and several nearby homes, businesses and vehicles.
Three people were treated at the scene for minor injuries, but no one was seriously hurt in the blast, which happened shortly before noon in the Martin County community of Northrop, which is about two hours southwest of the Twin Cities.
The top half of the elevator was blown apart, the Sheriff's Office said in a news release.
The State Fire Marshal's office is investigating the cause of the explosion.
