Marking an anniversary
A series of spring events will honor the 40th anniversary of the Hmong migration to the United States.
April 17 to 19: St. Paul will host a three-day national Hmong development conference titled “Honoring Our Legacy, Onward to Prosperity,” with more than 1,500 attendees at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
May 14: The community will celebrate the third Hmong American Day in Minnesota.
May: A monument honoring the Hmong community in Minnesota will be unveiled at the State Capitol.
