Overall, the production from the Packers' tight ends is about what it was through eight games a year ago. But that's overshadowed by a shoulder injury that has limited No. 1 tight end Jermichael Finley's playing time, production and effectiveness. Finley has two fewer catches (28), 113 fewer yards (265), four fewer touchdowns (one) and two more drops (six) than he had at this point a year ago, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Bears cornerbacks have swept the first two NFC Defensive Player of the Month awards -- Charles Tillman for October and Tim Jennings for September. Together, they have eight interceptions, three forced fumbles and three touchdowns in seven games. And the Vikings play them twice in three weeks pretty soon.

So far, so good when it comes to the Lions' decision to use a second-round pick on a receiver coming off a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Rookie Ryan Broyles went without a catch the first five weeks but has six for 88 yards and two touchdowns in the two games since Nate Burleson was placed on injured reserve.
