Margaret Anderson Kelliher gets a Dayton task force appointment

Kelliher is the second former Dayton rival to be slotted into a spot.

Gov. Mark Dayton appointed former gubernatorial candidate Margaret Anderson Kelliher to chair the state's task force to expand broadband access.

Kelliher, who Dayton beat in last year's primary, is the second former Dayton rival recently appointed to a position in the administration. Last week, Dayton appointed Matt Entenza, another vanquished primary rival, to the Sunset Commission.

Kelliher, a former state House speaker, is now the director of the Minnesota High Tech Association.
