Central Florida, Indiana and Creighton helped their chances to stay in NCAA tournament contention beating Houston, Michigan State and Marquette, respectively.

Trending down: Marquette dropped its third straight game Wednesday vs. Seton Hall. The Golden Eagles not only have blown their chance to win the Big East outright, but they gave Villanova a chance to achieve that feat.

Jordan Caroline, F, Nevada: The senior forward got national attention for breaking the glass of a fire extinguisher case after the Wolf Pack loss at Utah State resulted in a court-storming. Caroline, who averages 17.7 points and 9.6 rebounds, was lucky he didn't break a bone.
