Marc Maron's triumphant return to Acme Comedy Co.

The comic holds nothing back in his first appearance in downtown Minneapolis in more than 10 years.

Marc Maron didn't ignore the fact that he spent almost a decade being banned by Acme Comedy Co. Maron, who was here this past Thursday through Saturday, referenced the Star Tribune article.about owner Louis Lee's frustrations with him (http://www.vita.mn/story.php?id=141809663) at the top of his monologue most nights. He then launched into a great, but sordid story about the last time he played Acme.

Before Thursday night's show, I caught up with Maron and talked to him about his starring role in Nick Lowe's new video, "A Serious Man." You can watch it here:

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
