Maple Grove Transit seeks new commission member

Maple Grove Transit is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the city's transit commission. Specifically the agency is looking for a rider to represent Route 782.

Maple Grove Transit is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the city's transit commission. Specifically the agency is looking for a rider to represent Route 782.

Route 782 is an express route to and from the Park and Ride lot at 96th Avenue N. and Zachary Lane and the northwest portion of the city to downtown Minneapolis.

The eight-member commission exists to provide input into the operation and planning for future needs of of the Maple Grove Transit system.

Meetings are typically held at 6:30 p.. on the last Tuesday of January, March, May, July, September and November.

Applicants must be Maple Grove residents and use the city's transit services an average of three days a week.
