Autumn is well underway, but there are still a few touches of the growing season around, such as the sights at the Maple Grove farmers market.

Last week's glorious weather brought out plenty of market lovers seeking apples, pumpkins and other fall favorites. Forty-five vendors serve the popular market, which features lots of free parking.

Maple Grove's final outdoor market day will be this Thursday; an indoor market will be held Nov. 6 and 20 and Dec. 4 and 18. This week also will bring a Halloween celebration.

The market, which will be open from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, is at 12951 Weaver Lake Rd.
