Many eyes this summer have been focused on the race to succeed R.T. Rybak as mayor, but similar battles are playing out in neighborhoods across the city over City Council seats.

Seven of the 13 City Council seats are potentially up for grabs after some incumbents ran for mayor and others lost their party's endorsement.
