A Mankato woman was killed Thursday in a head-on crash on Hwy. 22 north of the Minnesota River city.
Kathleen Schouviller, 70, was driving north in a 2007 Subaru about 12:50 p.m. when she collided with a southbound Ram truck near milepost 57 in Blue Earth County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Her death was the 74th traffic fatality of the year. That compares with 62 deaths at this time last year.
The driver of the truck, Victor Colway, 51, of North Mankato, and his passenger, Shane Johnson, 39, of Mankato, were treated for noncritical injuries, the State Patrol said.
The crash is under investigation.
