Authorities on Tuesday identified the man who was fatally struck by a freight train in Coon Rapids.
Bruce J. Pritchett, 31, died from injuries suffered when the BNSF train hit him Sunday afternoon about a quarter-mile northwest of Hanson Boulevard, according to the Midwest medical examiner’s office.
Pritchett, of Coon Rapids, was not at a designated crossing when struck by the westbound train, said Amy McBeth, spokeswoman for BNSF.
