A man who died after becoming trapped in a grain bin in northwestern Wisconsin has been identified.
The Barron County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies were called to the corn bin south of Turtle Lake on Wednesday afternoon.
Responders worked for more than an hour to free the man, who was airlifted to a hospital, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Richard Fick, 63, of Clayton, later died of his injuries at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.
According to Fick’s obituary, his funeral is planned for Monday.
