A man who was shot to death outside a north Minneapolis house early Sunday has been identified as Lamont Valentino Kilgore, the Hennepin County medical examiner said.
Kilgore, 23, was shot around 5 a.m. on the 2700 block of Bryant Av. N. just as an after-hours party was breaking up. Police said that the motive was gang-related and that he was the intended target.
No one had been arrested Monday, but police said they were following numerous leads.
Kilgore's death was the 47th homicide this year in Minneapolis.
