A man who was wounded in a shooting last Tuesday in south Minneapolis died Monday at Hennepin County Medical Center, police said.
About 9 p.m. last Tuesday, a 911 caller reported hearing gunshots in the 4300 block of 4th Avenue S. Officers found a man who had been shot multiple times. A woman, hit in the arm, was found a few blocks away.
The man's name and cause of death will be released by the medical examiner's office.
His death was the 29th homicide in the city for 2017; last year at this time there had been 24 homicides.
Police said last week that they had no information about suspects and that no arrests had been made.
