A 39-year-old man was found fatally shot and a woman critically wounded in a parked car in south Minneapolis early Monday, police said.
No arrests have been made, said police spokesman John Elder, who added that "there is no indication that this was random."
Officers on routine patrol about a block away arrived shortly before 2 a.m. to the 2800 block of 15th Avenue S. and found the car.
The 23-year-old woman was in critical condition at Hennepin County Medical Center on Monday. Their names have yet to be released.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call police at 1-800-222-8477 or text an anonymous tip to CRIMES (274637) and begin the message with: TIP674.
