A man was shot and killed near Harvest Prep School in north Minneapolis on Tuesday evening.
Police said a 911 caller reported a man had been shot shortly after 6 p.m. at 8th and Elwood Avenues N. Officers found the man on the sidewalk with an apparent gunshot wound.
He died a short time later at Hennepin County Medical Center.
Police did not release details but asked anyone with information to contact them.
