Man's body pulled from Mississippi near Washington Av. bridge

A man's body was pulled from the Mississippi River in Minneapolis on Monday afternoon, the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office said.

The body was found about 4 p.m. near the Washington Avenue bridge after deputies responded to a 911 call.

The county medical examiner's office will identify and release the man's name and cause of death, the Sheriff's Office said.
