A man who died last week in northeast Minneapolis was stabbed to death, authorities said Sunday.
Patrick Darnell Thomas, 37, died Tuesday of a stab wound to his chest, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner said in a news release.
It was the first time his identity and cause of death were released.
Thomas was found at a home Tuesday on NE. Grand Street. At the time, police said the death was being treated as a possible homicide.
Minneapolis police are still investigating Thomas' death, the news release said.
